Application: Activepieces Personal Gmail OAuth. Last updated: 2026-05-26.

This application is operated by Chad Blackburn (Elevate Capital) for the sole purpose of automating the owner's own Google Workspace and personal Gmail workflows on a privately operated server (Active Pieces, self-hosted on a private network). It is not offered to the public.

Who can use the application

Only individuals explicitly added by the developer as OAuth test users, or, once the application is verified, the authenticated owner's own Google accounts, are able to authorize the application.

What data the application accesses

When you sign in, the application requests the following Google account permissions:

How the data is used

All data accessed by the application is processed only on the owner-operated Active Pieces instance to execute the user's own automation workflows. The application does not display, transmit, sell, or share any user data with third parties beyond the same Google APIs that originated the data.

How the data is stored

OAuth refresh and access tokens are stored encrypted (AES-256-CBC) in the Active Pieces PostgreSQL database that hosts the workflows. The database lives on a private Tailscale-only network with no public ingress. No copies of Google-owned content (emails, files, contacts, events) are persisted outside of the workflow's transient execution context unless explicitly written by the user's own automation logic.

How the data is shared

The application does not share user data with any third party. It does not analyze, aggregate, or profile user data. The only systems that receive data are Google's own APIs (when fetching or writing back) and the user's own Active Pieces instance.

Data retention and deletion

OAuth tokens and any cached workflow state can be revoked at any time by visiting Google Account permissions and removing "Automation Gateway (Chad)". Upon revocation, all associated tokens become invalid and any locally cached references are purged from the database within 30 days.

Limited Use disclosure

The application's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The application does not use user data for serving ads, model training, or any purpose other than the user's own automation workflows.
